What shows when someone shares a link to my community, and how do I change the picture?
A card with your community's name, the words about it and your cover picture. You change all three on your Welcome page. About two minutes.

Open Community, then Welcome
Welcome is under CONFIGURE in the Community list. On a phone, press the menu button at the top right first.

Community name is the title on the card. What your community is about is the line of text under it, and a long one is cut short on the card.

Press Save changes
Your community page updates with the new name and words.

Press Images
It is in the row of words at the top of the Welcome page, beside Channels.

Under Cover image, press Choose / upload
The cover is the picture on the card, and the big banner at the top of your community. With no cover, the card uses the photo on Your profile, and with none of those, your Logo.

Press Upload and pick a picture from your computer or phone
Upload is at the top right of the Media Library. Your picture is added to My Media, ready for the next step.

It is saved straight away. Stock Photos has pictures you can press instead.

Your Welcome page opens in a new tab with the cover across the top. That is the picture a shared link shows.

Can I approve new members before they get into my community?
Yes. Switch on approval and anyone who asks to join waits in a Requests list in Members until you let them in, the way a private LinkedIn or Facebook group works. People you invite, and people who pay, still go straight in. About five minutes to set up.
Can I change a member's post before I approve it?
No. A post waiting for your approval can only be approved or rejected, so you cannot change a member's words. If a few words need changing, approve it and add a comment, or message the member and reject it.
Can I check comments before they go up?
Turn on comment approval and every member comment waits for you. It's a separate switch from the one for posts.
