Can I check comments before they go up?

Turn on comment approval and every member comment waits for you. It's a separate switch from the one for posts.

Updated 15 September 2026

It ships off, so nothing you already have is held. Your own comments are never held. A waiting comment notifies nobody, scores no points and stays out of the digest.
  1. Turn comment approval on in settings

Community settings has two switches, one for posts and one for comments. They're independent, and both start off.

Two switches, on purpose: posts and comments are separate.

  2. Work the queue on your dashboard

Comments awaiting approval sits on your Community dashboard, oldest first. Approve & publish, Open in the post, or Reject.

Oldest first, so nobody waits behind a newer arrival.

You will know it worked when every member comment waits for you, and the queue shows who has been waiting longest.

If I hide something, does it still go out in the email?

Can I message one member privately, and can members message each other?

Message one member from Community, then Members. Their reply comes back to that screen, not your email. Members messaging each other is a separate setting.

Can I read what members post before it goes up?

Yes — one setting. Off, member posts appear at once. On, nothing appears until you've read it. The waiting ones don't sit in the Feed.

Can I write a post now and have it go out later?

Yes — it's the same composer. The choice sits at the bottom, under When. Events, for live sessions, is a different row and isn't open yet.
