How do I delete a comment in my community?

Open the post from Community, Feed. Hide and Delete sit under every comment, your own included, and you can undo both.

Updated 29 September 2026

Both are reversible and neither empties anything for good. Hide leaves the comment with whoever wrote it; Delete takes it from everyone. What neither can do is unsend an email that has already gone.
  1. Open the post and find the comment

Community, then Feed, then the post. Hide and Delete sit under every comment, including the ones you wrote as the coach.

  2. Press Hide to keep it from members

Every other member stops seeing it. The person who wrote it still can, and isn't told. Unhide any time.

  3. Read the line under a hidden comment

It stays on your screen, dimmed, naming the one person who can still see it. Unhide puts it back, and doesn't ask twice.

  4. Use Delete to take it from everyone

Delete goes for everyone, its author included. It stays on your screen marked as deleted, with Undo beside it.

You will know it worked when the comment is gone for the people you meant, and you can still put it back.

If I hide something, does it still go out in the email?

Can I approve new members before they get into my community?

Yes. Switch on approval and anyone who asks to join waits in a Requests list in Members until you let them in, the way a private LinkedIn or Facebook group works. People you invite, and people who pay, still go straight in. About five minutes to set up.

Can I change a member's post before I approve it?

No. A post waiting for your approval can only be approved or rejected, so you cannot change a member's words. If a few words need changing, approve it and add a comment, or message the member and reject it.

Can I check comments before they go up?

Turn on comment approval and every member comment waits for you. It's a separate switch from the one for posts.
