Do I have to decide on the leads offer right now?
No. Your community is free and works without it. The price for leads is Outreach, a separate paid tool that finds people for your community, and you can say no and carry on building.
Updated 23 September 2026
There are two screens this could be, and the way out of each is different. Look at the big heading. If it says Your community is ready to build, read the first part below. If it says Your community needs people in it, skip to the second.
If it says: Your community is ready to build
This one opens straight after you confirm your email. It shows a price per lead with the full price crossed out.
Under the big pink button there is a line of small grey text that starts No thanks. Press it.
The next screen asks Are you sure? Its big pink button starts Keep leads, and that one says yes. Press the small grey line under it instead: No thanks, continue with my free community.
The last screen asks What put you off? Tap an answer and the pink button changes from Pick one to Send; press it. Or press I'd rather not say. The screen closes and you are on your Control Centre. Nothing is charged, and you do not need a card.
If it says: Your community needs people in it
This one opens when you press Outreach in your menu. It has a big pink Start now button and no crossed-out price.
Press the small ✕ in the top right corner. A screen headed Before you go appears. Its pink button says yes, so press the small grey Not right now under it.
The last screen asks What's making you put it off? Tap an answer and press Send, or press I'd rather not say. You are back where you were, and nothing is charged.
What you give up by saying no
Only something if you saw the first screen. Its half price is for brand new communities: 50% off for life, with your first 30 days free. After you say no it is not offered again, and Outreach stays in your menu at the full price that was shown crossed out, with 14 days free.
If you want to see your community first
Open your community. You can also press Community in the menu; on a phone the menu is the ☰ button in the top right corner.
Then you have two fair choices. Say no now, build your community, and look at Outreach again later. Or say yes and use the free days to try it. If it is not for you, cancel before the free days run out and you are not charged. To cancel, open Settings, then Billing, and press Cancel on the Outreach card.
What Outreach does, and what a lead is
It finds people on LinkedIn who fit your community, connects with them from your own LinkedIn account, and adds the ones who reply to your email list and your community. Each person it finds for you is a lead. You pay a monthly plan sized by how many leads you want, which the screen shows as a price per lead. You approve its messages before any are sent. Your community does not depend on it.
What is free right now, and what is locked for later?
